Investors
We welcome new accredited investors who, caring about our region, accept
the high level of risk associated with the superior return targeted, but
not guaranteed, with angel investing. Our long-term goal is to achieve
exceed 35% compounded annual return on our investments.
We welcome new accredited investors who enjoy identifying great
opportunities and helping selected entrepreneurs in a collegial and
friendly yet rigorous and demanding manner. Each member decides which
deal he or she will invest in.
We welcome new accredited investors who believe there is strength in a
group that enables each member to fully share her assessment of a venture
in a confidential and open setting. As part of a group receiving numerous
funding requests, each member can limit his overall risk by diversifying
his investments over several carefully selected deals.
We have periodic meetings that include an education section for our
members, a company presentation, a Q&A session
with the presenting entrepreneur, and a private discussion. Time
allowing, private discussions can incorporate business issues faced by
members. The membership fee is $500 per year.
As defined by the Securities and Exchange Commission in rule 501 of Regulation D, an individual is an “Accredited Investor” if
he or she meets any one of the following:
- Has an individual income in excess of $200,000 (or $300,000,
together with spouse) in each of the two most recent years and
reasonably expects an income in excess of $200,000 (or $300,000,
together with spouse) in the current year

Has an individual net worth, or a joint net worth with spouse, at
the time of purchase, in excess of $1,000,000.
Our group is a strictly private undertaking and is totally independent
of any civic, political, business or trade organization. However, we
will cooperate with any third party that also wants to help
entrepreneurs create the future.
